Not always. If there is pain and bleeding then it's possible - but not definite she's a virgin. However, not all virgins have pain and bleeding.

Pain and blood = probably virgin
No pain or blood = no way to tell

Experience or lack of can be a way to tell too, but that is incredibly unreliable.

The best way to find out is to ask. She probably won't lie.

It really shouldn't matter though.

Not unless you're GYN and do an exam! Pain can be faked, a woman can "tighten down" really tight with her PC muscles and not every girl bleeds the 1st time!
So, no, unless you get her to agree to an exam an have a good flash light there really isnt a way to be 100% sure.
Why do you care anyway? When I was a virgin, I was not a Good Lover, I was scared stiff -- literally !!! It couldn't be enjoyable for a man to deflower a woman as she (most women) are so scared they "just lay there" !!!
It takes time, gentle loving & teaching to become a wonderful lover! Which most adults want a WONDERFUL LOVER to share their bed. And dont pry into a woman's "experiences" it's her business.
Do however be in love b4 having sex and do both get tested for HIV b4 having sex with each other (if you love each other & have had any other partners at all -- you will have the test for each other out of LOVE & CARING for the other) !!! And then you both swear to remain monogomous! This way you dont die of AIDS !!!
Over the course of the last 22 years I have been in love with 2 men & we both agreed that even tho we thought we were "clean", we could not be sure because we had no true idea of what our previous partners might have done behind our backs!!! So to protect each other we had the test 1st and then made a romantic night of it! And with the freedom of knowing we were both healthy, we could let loose & be ourselves, no hang-ups, no hidden fears -- just WILD ABANDON !!!!!!!! Believe me girls, if a man wants you & loves you'll -- he'll have the test (p.s. = he must give you his form & vise-versa, no just saying, "Yeah, my test was fine!" Men WILL SAY ANYTHING TO GET what they want !!!!

Well, of course. A virgin has something, an extra body part on the vagina, called a hymen. It is a a V-shaped piece of flesh that covers roughly the lower half of the vaginal opening, you know, the opening to the vaginal chasm.
When making love, performing oral sex as foreplay, the man could take a look and see quite clearly whether the hymen is there.
Beyond that, I would imagine that you could tell the hymen is there when you are trying to penetrate, because half the opening would be blocked, and there would probably not be much lubrication.

She might be feeling a bit of pain or she could even bleed a little but really you should just ask her. Why would a guy want/need to know anyway?

Not always . for example if they can do a split then they prob. don't have a hyman anymore or if they go horseback riding etc... Some you can tell and some you can't

maybe not. honestly don't know. lol.

but, the hymen of many women are often broken in today's society [sports, tampon use] and the vagina can be stretched [tampon use], so i would say there's no certain way to tell.

Yah,

It may be hard to enter. She should feel some pain. There may be bleeding if there is a hymen intact to break. Hop it's your wife.
