what are the prblems of women with in inlaws?

I have none thank God. But most of men emotionally have deep bonds with their mothers and brides are always the subject of a comparision. Most of the mother in laws see them as rivals. Sometimes there is a serious race for the best cook, best cleaner, best baby sitter etc. I think this is an ancient problem but still there.

if you really look at it inlaws are the ones that are mean not the woman. they are there trying and the inlaws are putting her down and doing as they can to be mean saying you dont' do this right or that. i have seen it first hand and the man won't do nothing.

In laws are a pain in the a** easpecially if their son is the bread winner they expect him to do what he used to do for them even after he has his own kids with his wife ,they always think the new wife has to do all the dirty work the aunties are supposed to do ,cook for them wash for them ,buy them gifts,i had a nagging mother in-law who always wanted me to to do things for her like if i did a new hair do she will want to know how much it was and where idid it then she would want me to get hers done as well if i had new clothes she would want me to buy for her as well . I mean lets be rael my own mother is a thankful woman and does not demand the way my mother in-law used to.Father in laws are much better.

Perceptions and misguided advice. People approach in laws with skepticism and bad expectations.

Women put a lot of unnecessary pressure on themselves, thinking about how in-laws will receive them and what they will expect of them. If only we could all be ourselves!

my first mother in law is wonderful!! we are very close, actually, she is always at out house. her family loves my new husband. its wonderful.
my NOW mother in law is a witch! she has always wanted her son to go back and be with his ex wife...the whole family is psycho!!
