If your wife calls the police and there is enough evidence that there was an altercation you will go to jail....Your wife does have the option to press charges, get a restraining order, etc..If she does get the restraining order or order of protection and you violate that you will be back in JAIL...You will loose custody of your kid and if a divorce is filed you will loose HALF OF WHAT YOU HAVE THAT DOESNT INCLUDE THE HOUSE AND CHILD SUPPORT

It depends on if your wife presses charges, or someone sees you cane your child and kick the dog. All are against the law, and you could see some jail time if you keep doing it.

If you are angry, go someplace and cool down. Don't slap or hit or kick or cane other living beings! Go kick the sofa instead.
