No, I would never forgive that, it could never be the same again and it would be thrown back up in every row for life, I would keep thinking about it and it would tear me up, some things are unforgiveable and cannot be made right, I know some people forgive and forget and I would forgive almost anything, but infidelity.

I don't know I think i would but then it all depends on the situation a careless one off and he was totally drunk probably more than a year long affair although i'd still be hurt either way .

It would depend on the circumstances, but I don't really anticipate that being a problem. Hopefully being a decent and caring person will make them only want to be with me.

been there done that and got the t-shirt,
its silly but when you think your ment to be with someone you do forgive them and believe that they wont do it again
im only 22 but spent 4.5 years with an ex who cheated on me over and over and over, he used emotional mind games and he'd tell me i looked scruffy or that his friends didn't like to talk to him while i was there or that i'd jsut end up drunk anyway so i'd stay in and then cry all night wondering what was wrong with me, (found out after the relasionship this was so he could have flings while he was out without me knowing) all my friends where his friends too and they covered up for him. i ended up depressed with an eating disorder becuase i thought something must be wrong with me..right that must be it, im fat..(i wasn't even over 8 stone to begin with) i had zero confidence, barely made it through university, i passed everything but came out with zero experience or confidence in myself or anything i have learnt
i still have alot problems with myself confidence now (broke up for good in feb)
All because of a guy getting exactly wanted he wanted...the life of playing the field, with a permant push over stuck at home.
I've learnt that if you forgive a partener one time and they do it again its nocks yourself esteem down and down and down and leads to nothing good

I took my ex back after she cheated on me and a few months later she did it again. I am a lot more cynical now.

Probably, but it would be a long hard road from there trying to function in the relationship. (At least then he would be earning back my trust for what he did, instead of trying to earn my trust after what other dumb @sses did...)

I love my old lady so much I most likely would. But we are going to have to talk long and deep.
