My younger brother thinks he is really cool and is sleping with differnet girls all the time. I'm worried that he will come into contact with STIs and pass them on to someone else. What advice should i give him about how to prevent STIs?

how old is he?
how old are you?
are you OK with talking to him about this type of thing?
I would think to get his dad into this might be better then you doing it really and most often the dad's are happy that they know the son's are having sex more so then the daughters anyway so he should have a essayer time with it then you did most likely.
but him a box of condoms and tell him to use them and try to explain how if he does not know just use the same things that they did in sex education when you where there if you can not think of anything new

I think that depends on how old you are, how old he is, and how comfortable you are discussing intimate type things with him. You could always say something like:

"I noticed that you are pretty popular with the girls, so I sure hope that you are taking precautions to prevent pregnancy, AIDS, and other STD's."

Or you could buy him a book about the subject.

Get some booklets and information for him to look at. Give them to him and tell him to please read them. None of my business but how old is he? Maybe he doesn't know there are risks? Or unless he does hes just not careful. Tell him you care about him and don't want anything bad to go on. You a sibling thats what we do

the only TRUE,100% WAY OF NOT GETTING A STD IS ABSTINENCE. but, we all know he's ot doing that. so the nexte best thing is a condom or other types of protection that don't allow skin to skin contact....

Have a discussion with him about the dangers that he may be exposing himself to and instruct him on the use of protection.

Have him talk to people who have ended up with unplanned for kids and/ or stds. They both are usually unpleasant enough to make a condom seem worth it.

give him lots of written stuff to read from the net or books that are detailed on this matter and let him discuss with an older cousin brother or parent/guardian who can go into details of this matter if you hesitate
