I heard that Ian Woodyatt who plays Ian Beal has decided to leave the square is this true? I read in a somewhere where he said he would never leave the square. Why would he a steady job a regular salary coming in....

i dont believe he will ever leave,he is the Ken Barlow of Eastenders!. also he has been in it since day 1,in 1985. i bet he is on a good wage!.

I hope he is leaving and they kill the character off. Ian Beal has become so stale and boring. Adam is lucky to have stayed this long. However, I am getting bored with the near deaths that the BBC have had to put in story lines to keep Adam in a job. Recently, there was the car crash with Phil Mitchel at the wheel. Next was Lucy's boyfriend showing a gun in his car and telling Lucy that he can get her father sorted out. We have also seen a wall, in his house, collapse on top of him. In real life, nobody would have survived all the mishaps and attempts on their life like Ian Beal has. Let's see him killed off, once and for all and bring some new blood to Eastenders. BTW - I suspect that it's Lucy that is trying to drive Ian mad, who does everyone else think it is?
