If you were on the pill you could postpone it by not taking your seven day break and just running another packet straight away. I don't know a way of postponing a natural period tho!! You should get on the pill chicks!! Safer anyways!! x x

As everyone else has mentioned if ur already taking birth-control pill u can skip the 4th week of placebo pills and start the the next pack which would effectively lead u to skip ur period that month. But from your question it does not seem like ur on any pill currently. I would suggest that if u are thinking to be intimate with ur bf u talk to ur doc abt starting taking the birth control pill. And if ur interested in fewer periods in general currently there are several pills on the market such as seasonal that allow u to have as few as only 4 periods a year. Basically the company packages a 3 month supply of pills with out the placebo pills.

There are other methods of delaying or skipping ur periods that many brides opt for but all such methods require you to go to your doctor and must be done in advance. Please talk to ur doctor abt your options.

Thirdly many people opt to be intimate during their periods and to avoid any mess choose to wear a menstrual cap. There are two types of menstrual caps in the us market currently and can be bought at you local drugstore. one is a long term reusable cup that lasts up to 10 years made my several company's and the second resembles is a disposable one that resembles a diaphragm. This cup is not a birth-control device!!! It does allow the wearer to enjoy sexual activity without any mess. But beware the cup does not protect against any disease.
I hope i was helpful but i do suggest that you talk to your doctor for your own safety before engaging in any sexual activity. Be safe and good luck!

The general opinion would be that you are way too young for the pill so i would not in anyway recommend that. Basically you're a girl so you'll just have to live with it. There are plenty of myths like eating a lot tomatoes, but its not worth the effort because you're bio clock will run like it usually does unless you are of ill health. You won't be able to decrease the blood flow, the fact is you can't fool nature, but you could wear a heavier pad, or a tampon, along with a pad, and you will have to make sure you change it as often as possible (3-4 times a day is recommended)

the only way i know to stop a period is by taking the pill and skipping the 7 sugar pills which would be the pills you would normally take when on your period and going straight onto another packet. this would stop it.

Depends on how soon the break is.

Talk to your doctor and see if they can help you.

Other than that there is nothing.
