I used to read them... I read the ones about the Dollanganger (Flowers in the Attic, etc.), the ones about Dawn... but as someone else here mentioned... the books are all pretty much the same... there's always some intentional or unintentional incest and then a bunch of people die, including main characters... the books are always extremely depressing.

I read the entire "Flowers in the Attic" series many years ago. She is a powerful author, but I found all the incest in her books quite disturbing, so I never read any of her other books.

I've read most of them. I quit when Willow came out, I think. I liked them okay wen I was a teenager but they became a little redundant to me. I go tired of reading about some poor girl dropped in the midst of a rich, cruel family. Same old story, over and over . . . .

i used to flowers in the attic series i think was the best. i didn't like the movie however. after that i had like 10 of the different series but they were all basically the same so i gave up

wow can't believe people still read her books!

awful.. awful.. just awful..

Flowers in the Attic, which i read years ago, was enough to make me stay away from her books completely
