2) If a probability are respectively 0.09,0.15,0.21 and 0.23 that a person purchasing a ferrari will choose the color
green,white, red or blue, what is the probability that a given buyer will purchase a new ferrari that comes in one of those colors?

first add up all of the decimals and then take each one and put it on top of the total, that should be the correct answer.

The probability of one of those colours is:-

0.09 + 0.15 + 0.21 + 0.23 = 0.64

So there is a 0.64 chance that he will and a 0.36 chance that he won't
