i was thinking that the current Labour Gov. didn't mention that there'd be a million new Polish 'plumbers' here if we needed them. We don't need any Romanian beggars but they're here too.

you are absolutely right matey - they do think we're mugs.
i for one am planning to do what i swore i never would do - at the next election i am going to vote for BNP. ( i hope they don't get in) if enough people do it the government might take the hint - it isn't enough to not vote - we have to give our vote to someone else to make the government realise that we have had enough and that we made a choice not to give our vote to them.
there are enough bleeding hearts in the UK to stop the BNP from getting in but it would certainly make the other parties sit up and take notice.
if they get in and close our borders for a few years - get rid of the illegals and get us back on track we can always vote them out again - but the scary thing is we might not want to
this is not a racist thing for those that don't agree - this country is half full of hard working people of all nationalities - it's the other half I'm concerned with

Our government in the UK have very little options about who comes to those country, and who doesn't. The faceless and unelected mob from Brussels, tell us what we can do.
The main parties in the UK are terrified in case they upset the Europeans. If any one of them were willing to stand up to Brussels, I am sure they would be voted in by a vast majority

How many British people have emigrated to mainland Europe and would you vote to stop them being allowed to move there, it works both ways.
You are right that there is more than 1 million Europeans living in this country but considering that we have a population of 60 million people and we are all Europeans it did not take a genius to work that out

Another million? Why the Liberals want to grant those who are here illegally with a British Passport and New Labour have turned our Island borders into a joke. yes - bring them on. Our population is ageing and declining as people are having fewer children, living longer and having children later. We need new population to ensure that there are enough people to pay taxes, look after the old and make sure services such as hospitals, shops, hotels, schools etc etc etc run

If you were that bothered by foreigners in this country, stealing our jobs, women, healthcare, etc., why only Europeans?

The country is over run with them.
What scares me is, if they are here for two years, can work and support themselves, after that time they are then allowed to claim un employment, housing benefits, sick pay the lot!
