i agree with splodge, you can't measure something like that, you only go by what you think and feel when it comes to love

You can feel the love in each and every action of the person who loves you. And you can measure the amount of love only when critical situation comes.
But from no one you can find 100% pure love. If it is, then a person who loves will die when we die.
Apart from that, measuring some one for real love should not go beyond an extend. You know why? If you always in the process of measuring then, you will not get time to love.

GREAT QUESTION!!! I measure love by how the person REALLY treats me...i.e. can we banter back and forth and know that THAT is all it is, without getting into a fight about something that's really not all that important....
I measure love by how much time a person is WILLING to spend with me doing things.... like working on the house, or yard...
I measure love by how many times I'm shown REAL affection... not just a light hug.... without carrying it any farther.
I measure love, by how a person reponds to my grief or joy.
I measure love by how much I can stand being in a person presence... or not... lol
Love is measured by how a person reacts to another... in all situations...

I am in fear of heights. It is my phobia. But I fell in love with a girl who asked ' would I climb to the crows nest' on a boat we were looking at. I said that for her I would do it and would have done so without any fear. However she did not insist, but something seems to take over when you are in love with someone.
I suppose it is the nearest you can get to true love.

Love is willing the good of the other as other, and not as a means toward the fulfillment of one's ego driven desires or needs.

do you think of her/him?
when you think of her/him do you smile or feel happy?
when you cuddle them do you feel a soft warm fuzzy feeling in your chest?
when they hold you hand in public do you feel like the luckiest person ever?
when you look into their eyes do you see love?
if they gain a little weight, will you still think them perfect?
this is the last put most impotant one.
when you think what/where your going to be in ten years time, are they there with you?
i hope this will help you, as i know real love:)

Love is unmeasurable. The nearest thing to that is to be content with who you are with, otherwise you will spend the rest of your life search for it.
