Beginning March to End of May - Autumn

Using India as a guideline is flawed. We beat them 4-0 in the tests, thius drubbing overshadowed our own problems. Another test series against Sri Lanka would have been good to see how well we are progressing as they do appear to be a good side. We do need changes to the team. Hopefully, Ponting will now be a memory and Hussey should follow very soon. Once some of the quicks get over their injuries, we can ditch Harris.

Winter in Australian begins June 21st, the same day summer begins in the Northern Hemisphere. Australia, along with other countries in the Southern Hemisphere is just the opposite of what the Northern Hemisphere is.

I think it starts in June as it would in the Southern Hemisphere. But this might apply to southeastern Austria like in Victoria or New South Wales, where they have a temperate climate. I dunno if the rest of the continent, including the outback, has a different kind of seasons like dry or rainy.
