I have really bad blackheads. I ahve learned not to squeeze them out because somehow (which isnt too hard to figure) the more you squeeze the bigger the pore becomes and the more dirt can be allowed in. I have really bad pores inbetween my eyebrows and the centre of my fore head. Also both cheeks. I was wondering whether there was a way to clean out the dirt without acutally squeezing them, and allowing them to stay reletivly closed so dirt dosnt get stuck inside. No not the "blackhead cleansing" cleansers, because yes they clean pores but by the end of the day i have a whole lot of dirt again. I know there is no way to actually keep pores closed perminantly, but many people have clean pores, whether there open or not. So any ideas?

I use clay. it pulls out all the impurities of your skin and is all natural no dyes or perfumes to aggravate the skin. There is also a recipe for a fruit and vegatable facial. Try them they work.
The recipes are at the web site below.
Good luck

if you are afraid of "facial" coz its quite painful, you can use the following:
a) st. ives apricot facial scrub once or twice a week--
b) facial mask which will pull with it all the dirt in your pores but its not an assurance that the dirt and blackheads will be removed at your first application, you can also use it once or twice a week
c) face smooth pack-- a cream which you massage unto your face to remove dirt.. if you can get your hands on a VOV smoothening pack (a korean product), apply it and massage on your target areas every night.. while you massage your face, the dirts come out..
d) avoid using whitening products
e) use a toner for it closes (or minimizes) the pores
i hope these will help you get that clear skin you desire...
ajah ajah!!! ^,^

I like to use baking soda mixed into my cleansing cream.. It's a gentle exfoliant and usually everyone has a box laying around. Just mix into your usual cleanser and give your face a good scrub with some warm water.. That should help also, use witch hazel available at any drug store with a cotton ball as a nice alternative to toner.. It's alcohol free and it feels good on the skin.. Lastly, don't touch your face if you can help it... The dirt won't spread around as much..Good luck

clinique has a really good pore mask that warms on the skin and takes out all the dirt, debris, and whatever else you have in there. its called thermal active renewer i work for them and i have to say customers really like the product. Try it out, its not that pricey and they also have pore minimizing products like that instant perfector that is tinted and camoflouges pores you can put it under or over your makeup. id go to the counter and have someone help you out.

The only way to permenatly get rid of them is to get them steamed out. AKA a facial. You can wast your money on soaps and creams and gels and toners but a facial is the only way. BELIEVE ME. If you have an Ulta by your house I'd go there. They have an astetitian who can help you get rid of them once and for all. There facials are not too expensive either.

a mild and gentle scrub always help to unclog your pores..but the best way i've tried is to apply egg whites onto facial cotton and leave it on your face til it dries..and when it dries u peal it off..and all the dirt will be pulled out..it really works u gotta try this..cos when they are all out n u can see them on the cotton..u'l be really satisfied and happy..this is one of the best methods..and after that u can rinse ur face and remember to use a toner to help close up ur pores..good luck :)

They have these really cool utensils, and one is like a tool and there's a loop on the end, and it you place the pore/blackhead inside and push the loop, then the black head pops out, just like that.

Try a gentle scrub made of jojoboa beans (like of artistry). I have seen it work for my blackheads around the sides of my nose.

i have a thing from clearasil, it's pore toner and it helps your pores look smaller, i don't know if it makes them smaller, but it seems to help. and i have a face wash from biore that deep cleans pores and exfoliates your skin. good luck =]
