When in doubt, read what you signed. Leases and rental agreements are designed to end any dispute and work for both parties. There is a reason why they provided you with a copy of what you signed.

After 30 days of not receiving payment. Storage units are usually pretty lenient, unless you live in an area where demand for storage is high.

You need to communicate with them and work out a payment plan. They don't like to sell your stuff, they would rather have the money.

Read your contract! It will all be spelled out there. In most cases, if rent is unpaid for 30 to 60 days it can be auctioned off for the storage fees.
