hey guys, i mean girls... How do your vaginas taste. i guess tasting your own vaginal fluid is normal. But what i'm actually asking is that, few months ago i was experiencing bad odour from my vagina. so i went to see doc and took a fungal infection insert and some antibiotics. I've read that once you get yeast infection it become easier to get it again and again.
Since then i was ok. But i do remember my vagina used to taste different. it wasn't salty, instead it was acidic and used to taste 'good'. but now i find it quite salty and even unpleasant for myself. Also i feel like my panties getting weird odour very fast... do you guys think im worried too much or is there really some thing wrong?

i used to be very confident when my guy goes down on me even without taking bath. But now i feel very unconfortable...
help please

Okay im sorry that you got some really shitty answers. Touching and tasting yourself is perfectly fine and normal for a human being. All vaginas are different, whether it be taste, looks or smell. They normally have a hint of metallic taste or some kind of mild taste. Your diet and bathing habits also tend to effect that specific area of your body.

My vagina don't taste salty.....per my boyfriend....however, i do know that some girls can have some salty discharge before getting wet from arousal.....once you get wet, the taste should go back to normal. U can try masturbating yourself and see if the taste goes back to normal once you are wet.

If it is so, you have no worries! Just wash yourself there before sex and let him go down on you only when you are wet?

P.S. Do you have weird odour fast on the panties recently? I believe any odour is not normal. It could be that the infection was not totally cleared? Or has came back?

I think you're just self concious. I don't like the way I taste or smell either. I've never had a yeast infection but I know that if you eat a lot of yogurt, the active bacteria in yogurt is the same bacteria that makes sure the yeast in your vagina doesn't take over. Yogurt makes your vagina healty but you have to eat a cup almost every day.

My husband says he likes the way I taste even though I think it's like vinegar. He says there's nothing wrong with that so if your man isn't bothered by your smell or taste, let him do it.

In addition to what others have said, has your diet changed or are you on any medicines? That can affect it. They say (I don't know if it's true) that drinking pineapple juice will make it taste sweet.

I think that the taste and texture e.t.c change throughout your monthly cycle. It could be that you still have a problem but it may also be that you've given yourself a bit of a hang up about it. sorry I can't be of more help x
