As we all know sanath jaysauriya is a glowing STAR for the srilankan team, ive noticed that the whole team depends on sanath, like wise the indian team depends on sachin & the pakistani team on afridi.....
so my question is once when sanath jaysuriya retires & stop playing cricket for his team who will be the next person to take over his position, will srilanka get another player like him to the team or will srilanka go back down after he retires or will sanga, mahela, upul tharanga, silva, kapugedera, mubarak or dilshan take over his place & get a good name for their country?

Good question, actually friend sanath is a master hitter of the srilankan team who places the ball well in a classic style with lesser deliveries so the team depends on sanath on some stages not always, if he doesnt play well or if he is retired then there are many other players who can fill the space or the gap where sanath was, as they do now.
Though they lose one or two matches or even if they lose their key player Sanath they will never go back down than coming front up, because day by day the lankan cricketers are improving their skills well, they've got good bowlers, they do good fielding & they have got a good batting line up.
So from my point of view Mahela & Sangakkara are also good players like Sanath who can do things well & bring a good score on the board & also get a good name for the country, but not a good hitter though like Sanath.
The day when Sana boy retires you will see the whole sri-lankans eyes full of tears, because he not only plays cricket on the pitch he also plays the heroism role in millions of peoples heart, he will be the lankan hero forever though he retires.

Actually no one can take his place....he is one of our best players and he is one of world's best players...
we cannot compare his talents with other sri lankan players.. it doesn't mean that.. they are not good..
the thing is ..other players have some other talents.. :)
Upul tharanga is a good example.. still he is new to this field ,but he performs well when SL needs him...
in this 20 20 series .. he didn't perform well...(according to ma vision).. but he has so much of talents... he has shown it b4..
sure he will become a super Hitter..!!
and as a team.. SL team doing their best for their motherland..
Specially the Captain(Mahela) ... he knows what his responsibilities are...

Sanath will not retire until another 4 years.

SRILANKAN TEAM DOESNT DEPEND ON ONLY JAYASURYA.HE IS BEST HITTER FROM SRILANKAN TEAM.SANGAKARA AND JAYAWARDENE ALSO GOOD PLAYERS.
AFRIDI HE IS JUST A HITTER WHO PERFORM OCCASIONALY.HE LACKS ON CONSISTENCY.
INDIAN TEAM DOESNT DEPEND ON SACHIN.DURING LATE 90S IT FULLY DEPENDED ON SACHIN.NOW YOUNG GUNS R THER WHO WILL RECOVER THE TEAM AFTER AN INITIAL DAMAGE.YUVRAJ AND DHONI R THE EXAMPLES .
