He has lied so much since the little fellow took power. Douubbllee VVissioon and his conterparts seem to thrive on picking on the ball carrier and not the ball. Can they speak out with some Knowledge of the Subject? No I think they have a drug related problem.

Some of your answers make fascinating reading with comments about high interest rates and poor labour management. At the time of our high interest rates they were the norm all over the world and just as we are now being hit by mortgage problems in the US we were hit by external forces then. If the Libs were such great managers why were rates at their highest when Howard was treasurer? The reality is that the libs have enjoyed 11 years of good economics because of the fiscal arrangements put in place by the Keating government. The only idea the libs have about economic management is to waste all the surpluses they get in tax cuts to the rich and funding the private sector. Money which could have been better spent particularly on education but also on health and infrastructure and ensuring future prosperity by investing in research and development.
They are totally useless and the thought of them remaining in power is depressing.

I grew up in a tough working class area and family, where according to my father all things Liberal were evil, rich, corrupt grabs . Times change we grow up and move on ! The Government inherited the financial disaster that was the legacey of Labour and turned it all around ! If not for strong leadership we would be a Union run, bludging Socialist Nation. Most are to young to remember 18 - 21 % interest rates and the BLF FUGS running the country. So ok lets cry out for extra penalty rates. My GF is a Nurse who earns double time plus afternoon allowance most shifts and is very well paid, with more flexibility now. I just cant stand bludging Union biggets ! Oh and lets forget about a clean Nuclear energy programe and keep burning coal because we're scared shall we !

Alen L, old mate!
In your case, it doesn't matter who the government is... you are obviously on another planet!!
Wake up.
If you are too young to remember the Whitlam/Hawke/Keating years, read a bit of history, or ask someone who does remember, and then ask them if they have recovered from the dole queues, the unemployment, the 20% interest rates, the disasters caused by strikes across the nation and ask whether they would ever dare vote a Labor team into power again in this great country.
We cannot afford another experiment that puts the nation back a decade or more again.

I don't think we will be better off with another Howard Liberal Government! (or any Liberal Government for that matter) There is more to government than budget surpluses and sucking up to the yanks! If Australia has to endure one more term of this crowd it will be forever a 2nd rate land in a big, nasty world. Howard has sold out this country and intends to continue to sell out Australia. There will be nuclear power plants all over this beautiful land. There will be nuclear waste dumps taking toxic crap from all over the world. We will have to work 3 jobs at $5 per hour - if you are lucky - just to put food on the table, only the rich will be able to afford decent health care and we will all be working (at our 3 jobs) until we drop - (and the bill for my funeral will have to be paid off by my children's children). Our elderly, sick and disabled citizens will be left to rot and the lives of ordinary Australians will be devoid of hope and dignity. We must give these soulless, number crunchers a message that they will not soon forget -

Australia for all Australians! God Bless this wide brown land I love!!

I don't think we could survive another term its time we threw the baby out with bath water the baby being Howard of course.
Interest rates are going to go up any way and the government will try and blame Labour.

I think you right about them being on drugs they think we are ungrateful for not appreciating what the elected government have done for us.

We should be happy they sent our troops to Iraq and set up our kids to be ripped of by employees and never be in the position to buy a home and best of all we should thank them for trying turn our country into the nuclear waste dump of the world.

Even if we don't have our own reactors Howard has just signed an agreement to dispose of USA's waste
.
What annoys the most is Australia is in middle of a mining boom we have had GST introduced so the country should be in a much better position so has what has Howard done to benefit our country in the last 11 years.
My mistake I shouldn't be such an ingrate.

The scariest thing is that you people are actually going to be voting, your answers show you haven't done any research, you are voting for a person not policy, you don't realise labour always fails basic monetary managment ,but go ahead anyway, vote for a featherweight because you have got the shits with the older generation ,start your learning curve just like I did ,it cost me my house but I no complain.

If you like high taxes, more give outs to those who want work, more tax funded abortions, and a white flag over the white house, then I guess so.

Please do note that throughout the history of America, the prior legislation has had heavy influence on the current legislation.

(Purely an example, since it's the most recent of presidents. I do not actually feel that either are at extreme fault. Just an example with names:::: Bill Clinton is the reason for many of George Bush's problems/accomplishments).

Though, it's obvious that you're just trying to cause problems.

Grow up. :p
