psychic's use what is called cold reading, which means they say a blanket statement which could mean anything to anyone, but our minds use that information to include that and make it all seem real and fit together. Derren brown did an experiment on it with about 20 people all ages and from England, Spain and America everyone of them said the statement he "wrote for them" was up to 99% accurate but it was the same one used for everyone, is that proof enough?

I know the phone calls are scripted. Watch the South Park episode about that Edwards guy. They do a good job of showing how it is done.
If you want to believe they will let you. And take your money.
There are people who can see the *possible* future. There is always a way to change what is "seen".
Fortune telling is mainly a way for people to make money. Divination is a different thing, tho popular culture doesn't see it as different.
Divination, as the word form shows, means to become divine. It is something you must do for yourself. You cannot pay someone else to make you a better person, or to have your dreams and wishes come true.
Learn how and DO the 'fortune telling' for yourself. Its a matter of looking at your life and following the guidance you have deep within.

Most fortune telling and pysics are false, they are just in it for the money. But some are the REAL thing. It is bad to seek counsel from any of them. In the Old Testament, God said to stay away from them all. Read 1Samuel 28:1-25. At this point in the story Samuel has already died. So king Saul seeked out a medium to bring back the ghost of Samuel so he could get military counsel from him. And yes a ghost did come up and give king Saul military counsel as he needed. But the problem is that it was not really Samuel; it was a demon! But it fooled king Saul. It was disguised as Samuel.
By definition; a "ghost is a demonic apparition disguising themselves as spirits of the dead."
Demons will disguise themselves as someone that died or someone that is still living or as an animal or even a copy of yourself. I have witnessed these things. I have seen them. My girl friend has seen them. My granddaughter has seen them.
By definition; a familiar spirit - a demon that communicates with mediums (psychics).
Please do not play around with those type of people. The danger is that some are real and demonic spirts might possibily follow you home if you visit them. I have been on 10 mission trips; 4 to South Africa, 5 to Guatemala, and 1 to MS when Katrina hit. I brought home things from each trip overseas and found out that demons had followed me home with those objects. It took me a long time to figure out that spirits were connected with those masks and wooden objects. I finally took them down and took them to a friends house and burned them. It was dark by then. After the masks and objects burned, a ghost was seen in front of my car. Also another spirit went into the window of my friends house. Then my friend was suddenly sick for many days from that moment on. While those things were in my home, I was sick, then it transfered to her when we burned them.
To a Christian, the demons can only bother them and scare them or make them sick. But to a non Christian;can be demon possesed!

I would never ring a psychic line. One of my friends apparently went for a job with a psychic line once and they basically gave her one of their scripts to read out as part of her interview to prove her suitability. It's a load of hogwash.
I also have friends that have rung them and 90% of it hasn't come true.
Having said that though, there are people out there that do have the "gift" - the trouble is there are so many fakes, you need to do a hell of a lot of searching to find the good people.

Hogwash. Do not waste your money. Do not believe in them, as like your horoscope, they're are just for entertainment. They're out there only to tell you what you want to hear. Once I went back vacationing to my homeland, one of my very distant relative (a palm reader) was there too, just for fun I let her read my palm, she told me I will have a good life and a chance to migrate to the great country of USA. My cousins laughed and told her that I was from US, the palm reader let go of my palm like they were hot potatoes, stood up and left.

Honestly, i dont believe that a pack of cards or a parrot or a crystal ball etc can tell you about your future. The only person who has the power to make or break your future is "YOU" yourself. Every decision that you make takes you one step closer to your destiny and you and only you have the power to change that :-) Believe in what you do and do what you believe in :-)

i do no longer think in fortune tellers. no person can tell the destiny different than God and God basically. issues take place in existence because of the fact God wills it to take place. Fortune tellers are no longer precise...it rather is basically a waste of money and a scam. Why no longer basically save a stable faith on your faith and permit the destiny unfold itself?

It doesn't matter whether you "believe" in them or not--they continue to exist regardless.
