have you or a relative ever had a stuffed animal that you took with you everywhere when you where a kid?
what did it look like and why where you so attached to it?
my sister has an ugly dumpty doll that she still sleeps with and its so raggedy but she loves it so.

I had a teddy bear I loved.... but that was long time ago... and I used to carry him everywhere with me...
it was a brown bear my mother had when she was a kid... and I still have him somewhere...

Not sure if this would help but when i was 3 yrs old i had a long bolster that i would carry around with me everywhere.
once, i brought it in the bathtub and realised my mistake when it had to be on the clothes line for 2 days!
I still have a bolster now (10 yrs later) :D
(different one from before) but i don't bring it around the house, only sleep with it.
Well if you want to know how my bolster looks like then..it has a teddy bear casing and its pretty dirty but i dont mind..
I'll feel uncomfortable if i dont sleep with it.. :D

How about horribly stained and threadbare and smelly.
