Kiss is okay. It could just be the quality of the cd I have but it doesn't sound that good. They do have a great song called Hard Luck Woman. Its more of an easy going song but it is really good. I love the guitar so that it what catches me about most of these bands. I don't know exactly what you are looking for but I love 70's rock. I love Van Halen, with David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar. Eddie Van Halen (guitarist) is amazing! I also love AC/DC, Journey, 38 Special, Bad Company, Aerosmith, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Blue Oyster Cult, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac (its not really hard rock but Lindsey Buckingham is an amazing guitarist), try Big Love, Rhiannon, and Gold Dust Woman by Fleetwood Mac, Foreigner, Heart, Hendrix, Lynrd Skynrd, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Santana, The Who. My dad loves Journey and told me the drummer (don't know his name) studied drums in college and says he is amazing. You might like KISS, but you should also check out 80's rock. None of that pop crap but rock like Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, and I can't think of anything else.

I like em all (except I don't know too much about Rainbow). Not too sure about your song choices though...how about I Can See For Miles or Love Ain't For Keeping? And then there's Just What I Needed and Bye Bye Love. D'yer's good, but...jeepers: Black Dog and What Is and What Should Never Be and The Ocean and Trampled Underfoot...

All of them are awesome except for I haven't listened to any of the car's tracks.

If you visit my site @ http://webxplorer.blogspot.com and play the Last.FM radio over there you'll notice such type of music playing all the time. Occasionally some new age metal will also play but most of them are rock + rock n roll.
