Are you kidding? That monster power supply is designed for Quad-SLI. It has SIX +12V rails (18 amps per rail).

Your 8800GTX-SLI will only draw up to 20.5 amps on the +12V rails. Your Core2 quad could draw as much as 11 amps on the +12V rails. That power supply would just run cool all day long. You have plenty of power to spare.

Sure if its the Pro. If you read thru the reviews you'll see guys running 2 GTXs and OCs dont need more power that the ones that aren't OC.

You do know that the new cards are expected to be out in November and your $1200 video cards will be yesterdays news and a lot cheaper then?

If you are not using a big CRT monitor that is taking power from the CPU power supply unit, Yes it will handle your configuration perfectly well.
