Yes. I was a complete muppet. There was a Yale lock on the door, I went out into the lobby to shout down to my husband who'd forgotten something and was on his way down the stairs and the door clicked behind me leaving my sleeping, 3 day old son in the flat alone. Fortunately, my husband had a set of keys at work, and for the 20 minutes it took him to drive there and back, I sat on the floor listening through the letterbox for any sound of my son awaking, and crying because I thought I was the worst mother in the world. As it was, he didn't wake up and was completely unaware of his dopey, sleep-deprived mother being so dumb. It never happened again!

Drove down to the beach house and set-up shop there, til my wife got home from shopping in Austin, Texas and I called her. I imagine I could have called Brinks Home Security Company and they would have dispatched a driver to my home to let me in, but I needed to do some thinking and the long drive down to the Island gave me plenty of time to relax, think and enjoy the stereo system with 14 speakers, wow!
What would you do under the same circumstances, young lady?

I've been locked out of a house. Just climb through a window... Can't find an open one? What the heck do you think they made bricks for!?

Are you locked outside and sitting in the car with your laptop trying to figure out what to do! Good luck. Call a friend or the cops.

yes, but luckily. I'd given a spare key to my neighbour so she could feed our cats when on holiday. If She didn't have the spare key I would have been screwed. Now I always double check I've got my keys before I even leave the house.

Yes, a few times. I used a wire hanger to get back in. The other time I had to wait for a family member with a key to arive and let me in. It sucks, contrary to what people say, there isn't much to do outside your home.

Had to climb in though an open window but ended up falling head first onto the TV cabinet and ended up in hospital having my head stitched.

Yeah. I had to climb my back fence and smash the kitchen window in to gain entry. It was 1 in the morning and I was a tad worse for the ole booze....
