Im from Utah and despite how good they are they get no national air time and are never talked about, it seems to me they have fairly interesting players fun to watch, seems like the NBA hates the Jazz I dont know, you tell me how you feel about them.

I'm a Wizards fan, and I love the Jazz. Good stuff, they're young, they're not too much into trashing anyone else's image like Kobe, they're fresh in my opinion - I like them. Kind of like San Antonio - but less experienced.

I think since the end of Stockton and Malone, the Jazz have lost quite some star power and most people would view the team as somewhat dull, if not underrated, though. And it has nothing to do with being in a "small media market". Back in the Stockton/Malone days, Utah versus anyone was always a match up that piqued the interest of many basketball fans. If it was all about being a small media market, then how do you explain the popularity of the Green Bay Packers (which has fans all over the US) and the relative unpopularity of the Los Angeles Clippers (who have very few fans outside of Los Angeles - and when they're losing - very few in it as well).

guy I predicted the Lakers might lose interior the 2d around, if the GM of the Jazz hadn't drafted that WNBA participant Carla greater proper customary as Carlos Boozer. the place the hell replaced into he this series, and that i'm no longer even a Utah fan. I merely am no longer a Laker fan anymore, and unwell of merely about all those band wagon L.A. followers. reason none of those mofos have been carrying all this Laker stuff while they did no longer make the playoffs.

Sir Charles likes them. I am a Utahn also and watching them over the years it is a small market and this is one of the main reasons. Look how horrible the Lakers are. We see too many games of them and reach for the vomit bag. Also superstar status can get you there. Look how bad the NJ Nets are but Vince Carters popularity gets the games aired. Jazz need a superstar that will catch the publics eyes attention. We have many great fans in Utah. We need them outside. I think many people like them and know and reconize they are incredibly talented. But other teams catch their attention more with the superstars and market.

are you guys kidding me? (not you, asker). I think Jazz ought to be pretty exciting to watch. I rather be rooting for Jazz than Spurs. Oh come on, how is it not fun to watch Deron Williams dishing it out or scoring on the go. Okur and Boozer can be a nightmare match-up for opponents as both can do damages inside and outside. With that that said, they're aslo capable of putting up 20 or 30 apart. Not only that, by teamming up with Ak47, they become one of the complete force on post defense. If you think Ak47 was a confidence-bust last season. Wait till you see Ak47 back with Jazz for the upcoming season because I believe that he may have just gained back that confidence especially after winning this year's Euro-title. If all goes well, they may slaughter Spurs for a playoff series win.

The cons:

1) Expect a couple of injury plague to Carlos Boozer, Deron Williams, or Ak47. However, jsut expect the Jazz Organization to bring in injuries-reduction specialists similar to that of what Suns did. ( The same treatment that was used on Amare that made him stayed healthy for more than 80 games!). Still, injuries can rear its head in the ugliest possible ways.

2) Word is that Ak47 is not happy with Sloan as the coach. That would sucked for Jazz to lose him because it was the same system that helped him flourished for who he is.

I like their style of play - many have the misconception that a Sloan team can't get up and down, but last year they could play just about any style (and play it better) than other teams: Yeah, they can run - ask the Warriors or Suns. They can slow it down - ask the Pistons or Rockets. They are a young team that is only going to get better. If they can keep these young guys and keep them healthy, they are in a good position for success over the next several years.

I like watching utah play and i'm from buffalo ny. I see them in the same category as chicago. they are both young up and coming teams who have been fortunate enough to have some hall of famers in the recent past.. boozer is a beast and deron williams will be one of the best pg's in the league. but what's wrong with ak 47?

I like them, but then again I am from Utah and have been a fan for years.

P.S. I think that's a great question to ask though!

utah is not the only team not getting enough airtime. san antonio would not get any airtime if they weren't champions. the two teams play using the same boring halfcourt game which pouts me to sleep. sorry, not that nterested in utah.

i like utah. i just dont like jerry sloan. like... when i was imagining the starting lineup for utah i thought it wouldve been williams, harpring, kirilenko, boozer, and memo. but instead giricek starts. he didnt do a whole lot.

utah doesnt have any high flyers though. its just not entertaining basketball. the days of running the offense through the pf/c are over. and utah still utilizes that method.
