A friend you realized that the mistake I made was in trusting a person to know what he was doing when in fact he did not have a clue what he had done wrong. The friend figured out right away what I had missed. Of course he had no reason to trust the other guy, so, that is not saying too much.

To me, it has to be my companion though. She has outwitted me umpteen times and yet, I'm still with her for couple of years now. As the saying goes:
