Yes when I got hit by a car in high school actually pinned between two cars(I had just gotten out of one)......broke my back, hip, upper thigh bone and cracked my knee cap. I still deal with all that pain daily if it wasn't for the mind control over it I think I would give in and never move.It seems the more years that pass the worse the pain gets this year marks the 10 year anniversary.

If it's truly physical pain, then it's real. Pain pills or nerve blocks or something can usually control it. Occasionally, it's so bad that they can't control it entirely, or can't control it at all. Minor pain (a cut or a charley horse or a sprain) can sometimes be controlled by an act of will, but you're not going to be able to control serious pain without help. But sometimes something can FEEL like physical pain, but there's no known cause for the pain, and nothing will affect it. In that case, it's generally assumed that the pain isn't "real" - that it's all in your mind. Whether that assumption is true or not, it doesn't change the fact that the pain sure feels real.

You can learn to control pain. I basically just ignore it and work on. I have spine problems and then all those problems that go out to your extremities. As I get older, I find I have to take more breaks to control the pain. But you gotta do what you gotta do. . .
I didn't see the toothache part. Only one thing will help with that-the dentist. There is nothing worse than a toothache. There is just no way to ignore it. . .
