Yesterday the world saw how far to the right america has moved, we saw those who challenge the Fascist Right be tazered and beaten for exercisng free speech. Bush and his little band of neo nazis are quick to lecture other countries about free speech and democracy while they are crushing free speech and dissent at home.

What the hell are you talking about the guy was an idiot and it would not matter if he was a Republican also, we don't need to re-live 1968 and the Vietnam war protest. If you are familiar with history you would know what I am talking about. When in a talking forum or protest there are responsibilities that come with it, and that is to conduct yourself appropriately. That should be simple enough even for a democrat to understand or am I wrong about it?

Because it beats the alternative - a Communist Democratic Nanny state where 90% of your income is paid in taxes.

Freedom of Speech shouldn't be confused with disorderly conduct.

Those who organize an event have the right to gather without being harrassed by people whose only intent is to cause a public spectacle and resist arrest.

They can't get tasered enough when they do that stuff, IMO.

First...what you saw was an idiot that was acting for the camera. Yes, the cops were idiots too, but that guy wasn't excersizing free speech. He was causing a disturbance at a public event.

Second....WHERE WAS AMERICA WHEN BUSH SAID THAT SADAAM HAD W.M.D.'S????

Nowhere. I was screaming to everyone that this was a sham, and NOBODY listened. Now...people listen. The reason is simple. America wanted a war, and they don't like thier freedom. It sounds crazy, but facts don't lie. Americans were more concerned with killing the boogeyman than with losing thier rights. So be it. It's a worthless battle and I don't want to fight for people that are too stupid to know that thier government is corrupt.

The kid was posing questions to a past presidential candidate. He could have done so in a more professional manner and not appear like a ranting nut job.

Not to mention, it was a democrat candidate.

He was not tazed for asking the question, he was tazed for not complying with orders given by police. As a result, for his, the officers, and the publics protection, he was tazed, he complied. Done.
