man oh man, you can't begin to understand how much that irritates me. i mean, you're looking for a simple yes or no answer, and the person just goes on and on and on, and often gets off the subject and you're not really sure--hey, look! a polar bear!--if they even read the question--no, really! right over there!--or what the heck they are doing. i've noticed this phenomena a lot in recent days and like you've said, it is really irritating. i'll bet other people have this same problem, but you're the first one in a while who has mentioned it and i appreciate you giving me the chance to give you my opinion on this really irritating behavior.
