Yes. I had been really sick, so bad I couldn't get out of bed. One night I couldn't sleep, but my head hurt too bad to read or watch TV or anything. I wanted to talk to my boyfriend, but I was afraid he would be sleeping and I didn't want to wake him. Suddenly the phone rang, and it was him! He'd been afraid to call ME because I was so sick he didn't want to disturb me. But he really wanted to hear my voice so he finally called. It was about half-past twelve. We talked until about 4 then we hung up because I was starting to hurt ven worse. He showed up at my door an hour later with roses and homemade chicken soup! My mom was startled to find him on our doorstep at 5am, but she let him in and he was scared. He hadn't seen me the whole time I'd been sick, and he said when I was better that I had looked so pale and weak, it frightened him. My mom had never allowed boys in my room before, but from about 5:30-9am, he was asleep in the chair next to my bed, ready to wake up and get me anything I needed! I know it wasn't all a phone call, but it was the sweetest phone call I've ever gotten, and he made me feel so much better!

Yes, quite a few times. Main reason being that the caller forgot about the difference in our time zones and I have trouble getting back to sleep once something wakes me up, so I might as well chat for a few hours until I'm tired again.

An Asian man phoned me at around 11pm at night and claimed to be working for a thai restaurant across the other side of town and he was talking about discounts and bargain prices. I was kinda tired and just said to him in a stereotyped asian voice 'Ur mudda is cho fat dat when sne jump for choy che goat stuck' I thought he would have hanged up but instead he replied 'Ur mudda is so fat dat when che turned around a cherb (kerb) che caused an eschplosion' and being the persistent, knavish teenager i am i simply continued with such sardonic remarks and it became a full on 'Ur Mudda battle!' In the end he won...He knows those 'ur mudda' jokes like the back of his hand... Fun..fun hey i might go and phone him back again just to stir him up again for a re-match!! Thx lady!
