Go out with lots of guys. Sometimes, the guys that come to you will treat you better. Look around and see who's looking at you. Unless you have a commitment, date and have a good time. It's OK to date different people for different reasons. You don't have to be "in love" to date. You date to get to know lots of people doing lots of different things. I"ve been known to get crushes on a lot of inappropriate people but I keep them to myself (I just love all those bad boys but I'm not going there). Whoever I'm dating is not a second choice because I'm with them and want to be.
How can this be bad advice? I'm not saying you sleep with everyone you date. Grow up. You should have as many men friends as women.

It's only wrong if you're using the other guy to get over your crush. Other than that no it's not wrong.

Yes. It isn't fair to the guy you asking out. If he ever finds out it'll probably hurt him alot in knowing he was second best and second choice. It isn't true to yourself either.
