Yep, just today. A mother would not control her young son while she was getting fuel for her vehicle. The son jumped out of the vehicle for no reason and came over to my cash window and began playing with my pen, and when I silently took that away from him he began playing with my metal transaction box thing (you know, the box people place their payments in and I slide it in to retrieve the payments). I finally got on my mic and told the kid, not unkindly but with absolute finality and no room for compromise in my voice, that the box was not a toy and that he needed to stop playing with it. I was pretty ruthless (compared to his mother who could care less where the kid was). He was probably only 4 or 5. Poor kid, having to experience cold-hearted strangers like that...
