liking:- if i say i like u or i like veryone in Y/A.
loving:- a feling of care, needing that person and sure that ur desire for that person is very powerful.
infatuation:- sudden attraction, feeling of wanting and romance starts soo quickly and the next movement everything is just like a dream.

liking is like something you are with a friend as in liking how each other acts, dresses, thinks. Infatuation is like puppy love, it's here today and gone tomorrow. Loving comes in different levels as well as different strengths and in many instances, for instance you love your child, your parents, etc., you love reading, you love life (have a zest for life), you can love animate and inanimate objects, etc., and you can love for many reasons. It's an overused word, and all three words are mixed up by a lot of people. Other languages have many ways to express one word. English doesn't really have that.

Well, the result is disaster !!! But nowadays kids are smart & they sure can, & do distinguish bet. the 3 !!

Lets put it like this. 'Love' is a bottomless sea of wonderful emotions one human can have for another human(s) like B/F, G/F! Family, friends, things, places, plants, animals etc. Now these emotions, at different depths of this sea for a particular person(s), thing, etc. makes up... like, infatuation & love! A shallow depth denotes a liking, a little deeper but not really very deep denotes inflatuation and deep to very, very deep denotes love!!!

We have a poem, verse in our language Farsi:
Loving came to me like blood in blood-vessel and to my bone
It made empty me of myself and filled me with my darling sweetheart
Loving conquered and surrounded all parts of my existence
It is only a name that has left of me now, and all remained is only love
It means that love is the highest level of liking that one forgets himself and be annihilated in existence of darling his life and quiddity changes and doesn't remember presence of himself Infatuation is a condition inferred of loving and not is loving
