Go to San Simeon and check out the elephant seals on the beach!!! The males are huge and the females have their little babies up on the beach!!! That is an experience you will NEVER forget!!! Have fun!!!

Laguna Beach is small but beautiful, with all the artsy gay pretentious ppl, Huntington Beach is beautiful and big. Santa Monica beach is fun, Newport Beach is just for partiers and overgrown surfer guys who never grew up and still think they're 19.
Gotta love the beach!

Try Huntington Beach south of LA. Lots of twenty-somethings that want to have fun there. Stay at the Hyatt.

moonlight beach in Encinitas It is a small white sand beach, that I used to spend half the summer there when I was a kid....

it's private and the sand doesn't crunch.
plenty of shells.
relaxing and fun.
but any beach is the best
it's just the people your with.

depends. if you want to surf, then you want to go to mavericks...however, it's too cold to swim for pleasure. if you're looking to lay out and swim, then you're gonna want to go to a beach in southern california.

Santa Monica is nice, but I like Newport because it is easy to get to.
