what is the most brutal anime series?

i wanna watch an anime more brutal than claymore,i watch anime at crunchyroll and at anime6 i dont know which here is brutal than that..if you know an anime series at is brutal, please let me know thank you..(^_^)\m/

I heard gantz is pretty brutal as far as the violence and the storylines go.

i wouldn't watch it because of some of the stuff that was described to me as disturbing by my husband. if you haven't watched that, you might should give it a try.

Gantz and Elfen Lied. Elfen Lied's violence, gore and nudity is justified because the plot and characters. It is a well written and drawn anime. However, Gantz, is uses violence and gore to make up for its weak plot and characters.
