My moms Thanks Giving dinner. I know you said dish (one thing) but I can't decide between the moist delicious turkey, the sweet potato casserole, the breads she makes, all the kinds of vegetables, and finally the pumpkin pie and all the deserts she makes. She starts cooking a week before.

My dad cooks this dish. He pan fries fresh fish. Then chops up some tomatoes. He fries them and adds them to the fish. Then he makes this sauce with black bean, garlic, ginger, sugar and soy sauce. Its not black bean sauce because there are only a few black beans in it. Anyways, he serves it on a hot bed of steaming hot rice. OMG! Its tastes soo good! And I got this all down because I don't know what he calls it. Man, my mouth's watering now.

In my small family is me because my wife can not cook that well , she learn from me, my daughter she is still so young to cook. In my law family it is me because every time I go as guest to my Mother in law she likes my food so much. In my big family , sure is my Mom but right now she is barely cooking because she is getting old. and my sister so far doing good.

My Mom makes these appetizers out of phyllo dough and cheese and veggies they are awesome.
My ex Mother In Law used to make Antipasto and crepes from scratch every Easter - she won't give me the recipes no matter how much I beg.
