Man i love them both!! but which one would you prefer?? FOr azera, you can buy the Limited version with full option for just 30,000 and it includes all the high tech which should be like $40,000 or more. And same as c-class, but i think Mercedes and other company try to copy what hyundai is doing, (most safety features comes standard??) i mean do they really need to do that?? anyways ...

I agree with the others, unless you like a small sedan (C-class) I'd go for the much more luxurious and powerful Azera. Hyundai is known for building quality cars and ranked #3 by JD Power, while Mercedes came in dead last at #36 in initial quality. Consumer Reports lists Hyundai among the 10 most reliable brands long-term, Mercedes was not even top 20. I don't think Mercedes has copied anyone, they run their own show and are successful at it. On the other hand Hyundai has modeled their vehicles after the best in the world (Japanese) and come up with some fresh designs and high quality vehicles this decade. You may also consider the Acura TL, Nissan Maxima/Infiniti M35 and Toyota Avalon in your car options.

What ? Mercedes is coping Hyundai?????
Are you on drugs or something? Hyundai azera is the best Korean car but a peace of junk compared to MB. but don't buy either of them.
Hyundai sucks and a MB C-Class if for people who can't afford a MB E-class or S-class and want to show off.

Hyundai, is Korean top car maker, along with KIA, Dewoo etc.
Hyundai was born as technology transfer program from Mitsubishi from Japan. (Similar to Malaysian car Proton).
1886 Mercedes made the 1st car. Yes MB is more expensive then Hyundai, for its experiences, improvements and design.
Safety features, Mercedes topped the world for decades, Koreans and Japanese are copying for decades.
So call most safety features as standard, those already happening in all Mercedes car long ago.
Hyundai Vs Mercedes? Is Hyundai really think about it? Not even another 10 years down the line, or never will.

There is any critical comparison between them, some Hyundai's are very fast like the equus, but they have a different philosophy as compared to Mercedes,I can't even compare sonata to c class because Daimler think about the driver and the passenger more than any other automobile company might do,also Mercedes Benz is not reliable compare to Asian,Korean,Japanese cars but reliable than it's rivals in its continent.Mercedes are far better than BMW just that they are very fast,I can still see people driving Mercedes's older than me in Ghana, bmw deforms quickly but they run.In this case, none is the winner

If you really cant decide between a hyundai and a benz then go for the hyundai, it will be cheaper and probally more practical for your needs. Are you serious? then your asking for considering the S class. I hope you know that you could buy like 5 hyundais for the price of 1 S-class. Get back to us when your ready to compare the benz to the bimmer.

This is a ridiculous question. Absolutely go with the Benz if you can afford it. Hyundai stuff may look cool to begin with, but I would be willing to bet that a lot of stupid little things go wrong with it as time wears it out. Plus, when you do have to get service almost all MB dealers will provided you with a loaner Benz while your Benz is being worked on (especially if you buy a brand new one at that dealer). Plus, they treat you especially well because you have a Mercedes (you know, hold your hand while you go to the bathroom, etc.). Think about what the Hyundai service center is like in comparison.

well the Azera will not be worth anything once you buy it they depreciate faster than just about any other car company (kia might have them beat). the Mercedes is not the most reliable car but the build quality it better and despite its unreliability will be worth much more in the long run if you ever decide to sell it. i would look at the BMW 3 series or the Audi A4 as competitors for the MB but with better reliability. the Hyundai competes with ford, Chevy, Honda, Toyota and the likes.

I would go with the Benz. The Azera is still too new, wait a few years for Hyundai to work out the bugs.

If you're in the US, as it states below your question, Benz did not offer a C250 4Matic in '06. The only C-Class 4Matics were the C280 and C350 in North America. The C230 and C55 were also available in 2006 but not with 4Matic. In North America, the C250 was available as of 2010 but it was not sold in the US. It was however sold in Canada (the US received the C300 as the smallest displacement C-Class available that year).
