To resale or rent a timeshare is a hard task, a basic rule is : don’t pay money up-front, there are some free classified adds where you can post it and get some hits:

Any company that wants money up front to list it is just cheating you. That's the rule.

That being said, consult a Timeshare users group for good info on selling timeshares

A lot of people also list them on eBay.

You might try Craig's List (www.craigslist.org) or eBay. Those are two great ways of selling things.
