It depends on which part of the country you live in, your long term plans, the economic pressures on that area, etc.
You also need to consider health insurance, savings for emergencies (e.g flat tires, unexpected medical bills, unemployment), saving for future expenses (e.g. car, down payment on a house, retirement, education).
Here are some cost of living sites to help you figure it out:

depends on what your car payment, insurance, cell payment all cost.. also what utilities you are responsible for paying.
personally, i make about (bring home pay) like 270 a week. I have rent, cell, and (unfortuanately) like 5 credit card payments a month! I dont have to pay a car payment cuz my car was paid in cash (old car) and my ins is still under my parents name so its only 30/ month
and i split rent with my bf... after all my bills and grocery/ household stuff i usually have about 50-100 a week extra so yea its very do-able
just have to add up all your expensies you know you have to pay every month that are the same amount everymonth... then factor in gorceries and if you have to pay for gas or lectric becuase heating can get veryyyyy expensive!

It all depends how money savvy you are.. If you are with a roommate.. make sure they are on the lease so they don't leave you hanging first off...so protect yourself that way first.. then if you split for everything you should be fine.. but if you are thinking of going out a lot, buying tons of clothes, and ordering out for food on a daily basis.. think again.. this will dry you out fast.. so make a budget and stick to it.. you should be fine..

So your share of rent is $375? Yeah, you should do fine.
If your share is $750, that's stretching it, but if you live frugally you'd be OK.

do the math? Add up all your bills and see if you make enough. I don't know how comfy u will be... but if you watch how you spend your money you could make it.
