You cannot broadcast your wireless network through the wired router. However, if your router is wired (not wireless), and you are connecting to your network wirelessly, then you have a wireless access point instead of a wireless router. You would configure broadcasting from the wireless access point, not the router.

You need a wireless router to broadcast your network wirelessly.

As the first reply stated, most wireless routers have RJ45 ports to connect wired lan connections.

Replace your current router with a wireless router.

Make sure you secure the router so only persons you want to use your wireless internet connection can login.

Make sure you secure the Admin password to any router.
