yes you are right Richards, this 20-20 game format is such a wastage of real skills of players.
There used to be only one Cricket game which was called "Test Cricket" then it came to "One Dayers" now it has another wing as "T20" but sorry to say this is not going to be proved as one of the entertainer game at all.
In Cricket game players are required to concerntrate the game, improve their skills, but in T20 one cant concern to game, each player is suppose to hit and hit and only hit the ball out of boundry, no matter this superfast version of cricket looks charming and please the audience but its realy harmful to Players career.

If you want to globalize the game, this is the easiest way it can be done. And if at anytime cricket does manage to become an Olympic sport, this could be appropriate format to fit in.So what happens is when many countries start playing the game, it will be more of 20-20 and this could very well result in more matches played in 20-20 So if cricket does become an Olympic sport, there could be a danger to test and one day cricket

I wonder whether there is space for both the 20/20 game and one-day games, especially when tests are thrown into the mix as well. I think one of the formats will disappear, most likely the ODs. 20/20 games are doing to ODs what ODs initially did to tests.

I dont think that it kill the reall skill of player
may be it show REAL skill of player
bcz in a short time we watch the game and the ability of player
as the time is fast going so the 20 20 is the best bcz now nobody have the wastage of time to watch tv for full day

Once it has been introduced officially, it will continue. The motto of ICC is "kill the game but fetch the money".
