Radically altered existing DOD protocols and issued a new directive placing all decision-making powers, specifically in the case of 'Derelict Airborne Objects', under the control of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.(This document removed the authority of well intentioned Generals and field officers to shoot down hijacked aircraft and gave the authority strictly to Donald Rumsfeld, the man who is documented as needing a "New Pearl Harbor".)

This is a damned if they do, damned if they don't situation. If the military had shot down the aircraft then everyone would be blaming Bush and the military for acting too quickly and killing hundreds of innocent Americans. Up to the point of 9/11 airplanes hadn't been used as a missile to strike a building. Usually they landed the plane somewhere, made demands etc or blew it up in midair.

You're 'evidence' isn't much? Protocols are changed all the time, updated, 'streamlined' etc in this the government isn't much different than other businesses.

Also you're evidence in the time-line is very weak.: the training in 1996-8 on US bases, the article has no proof and everything is alleged, doesn't mean they did. Also just because someone uses an address for registration of cars, licenses etc doesn't mean they live there either.
Ashcroft stops flying commercial flights, its was a threat assessment, now if more of Bush's cabinet had stopped, then something might have been up.
The bomb sniffing dogs removed, according to the article, there is no mention of date but looking at the comments by security officers it appears the dogs worked up to the 10th, not 7th as the time-line states.
"George Herbert Walker Bush Sr. visits the same Florida resort within hours of alleged 9/11 hijacker, Mohammed Atta." This is laughable. Reading the article the reader is painted with a picture that some men perhaps attempted to assassinate Bush on the morning of 9/11, interesting considering many think Bush was behind it, so what an attempt that is covered up?
FEMA landing in NYC on 9/10, again no proof only a person who in all possibility misspoke during an interview.
"Rudy Giuliani was warned that the world trade center was about to collapse, even though no steel structured building had ever collapsed from anything other than bombs. It should be noted that the world trade center engineers built the structure to withstand "multiple jumbo jet impacts".
Love that one, it implies that a building on fire can't fall down, or that the WTC was designed to take several airplane hits, but no where does it mention both working in combination.

I could continue but this is just a bit of the 'evidence' that 9/11 theorists put out. Do some research and actually look and read what they say. Don't take what the theorists say as truth either.

You really do not know much about that do you, shooting down a plane , when absolutely necessary has been around since my grandfather was a kid, and Rumsfeld was not the only one to determine when that should be done.

You've been digging into our covered up past...have you...
Ask the guy in charge of air traffic control that day...he resigned (ex-military),. He knew what protocol was, he watched as it didn't happen.

This may come as a big surprise, but I believe it was SOP NOT to shoot down civilian airliners.

In fact, I think our air defenses were pretty much designed NOT to do that. So if you expect the military to turn on a dime and start shooting down civilian airliners who stray off course, you are sadly mistaken.
