It is absolutely worth it! Most things that will give you happiness in life are worth fighting for, even though they may cause you stress and pain for a while. Believe me, an education will get you much farther in life, you'll make more money, you'll be able to get your own car, and even have your own home. You will have to struggle for the first couple of years, but once you graduate you'll be glad that you worked so hard. And future schools and employers will see how hard you worked, and you'll be recognized for it. So don't give up!

Keep up the good work in school. Sophomore year is the hardest year in my opinion, and I'm a junior right now. If you don't drive, then try doing some homework to and from school and work. I strongly suggest not taking a nap after work because that cuts out of your overall sleep time at night. If you need more help, talk to you counselor. Just don't worry. Sophomore year goes by pretty fast.

I hope you're working for some sort of credit, not for personal benefit, especially if you don't need it.
That sounds like me all of freshman and sophomore year.
Avoid it if you can, you'll feel alottttt less stress and you'll feel much better during the day.
I remember staying up late procrastinating, doing things at three in the morning, and then completely collapsing during class. I was irritable, unbalanced, and confused all the time. I regret it so much, because now I know I could have done better those years if I had put more effort into schoolwork during the day than too many sports, TV, sitting doing nothing... when I could have spent getting my homework out of the way and still getting time to sleep and eat properly.
If you can, try to spend more time during the day doing your homework, especially during lunch, free periods, homeroom, every chance you get without ruining your personal life.
DO get some sleep, it's more important than you could ever imagine.

Wow, I'm also a sophomore in high school and want to go to college, but I would cut back on work, what do you work? I would take my homework with you and finish a bit there, or finsih some during lunch, or study hall?
But don't stay up till 2:30 EVERY night.

3 and a half hours of sleep is not good for you. damaging your health isnt worth getting a good grade. youll be miserable because you will most likely get sick more often.
cut back on work. maybe only go on the weekends, or 3 days a week instead of 5. or even quit? youll have plenty of time to get a job in college!

You are worth it, my dear. Don't worry about your health. You only live once, and for someone like you, it might not be for too long. You will eventually find someone who will appreciate you for your baggy eyes. Quit squinting at people. If you are not to the point where you are propping your eyes open with toothpicks, you still have a ways to go.
