It can take up to 10 days for a new fish to get used to his new environment,
turn off the light and leave him alone, and don't tip on the tank, you will only stress him out more

Hope that helps
Good luck

Well, if you have a light in or above the tank, he may be seeing his own reflection and is afraid. You also might want to check the surrounding area, like is there anything of a bright color or weird shape by it. My daughter had this blue round brush, that she would sometimes set near the tank after using it and it scared the heck out of her fish. The other people had suggestions that were great. Try some plants and tank toys for him to hide in and around. Poor thing. My daughters beta is almost 3 years old, so if you take good care of them you can have them for a while.

Aww, the poor little guy is probably still just getting used to the tank. As long as you have some plants (plastic or real) and some other decorations (such as caves or places he can hide), he should be fine in a few days.

He will be fine. Just needs some time to adjust to the new tank.

He just needs some time (full day or more) to settle in. If it's "open", do you have a plastic (or ?) plant or more in there for him? He'll probably feel better having a place to duck behind/into. He'll be fine.

He'll settle in eventually. Just give him a quiet space to get used to things.
