If they are not involved with their family; how long will they stay involved with you?

its hard to say ...cause it varies with each individual
but to say one is better the the other would not be fair and can not be done
like me I'm very involved and we are a close knit family and i like it that way so i would be more than happy to date someone who shares the same values as me
having said that i know the price we sometimes have to pay with the comfort that comes with that
if you prefer more to move around on your own then dating someone who is very involved with their family may be a bit of hassle for you
so i guess there is the good things and bad ones that comes with all the choices we make in life:)

Usually if a persons has a good relationship with their family it's a good indication of how they will be in a relationship with you. Perhaps this is not the right person for you.
