It will likely be Sen. Hillary Clinton. The Republicans have dug themselves a hole that contains too many scandals, perceived corruption in the White House, and a war without a foreseeable end, and their field of candidates is very flawed this time around. They thought Fred Thompson was the answer, but he's not shaping up as well as they thought he would.
It's likely that no matter who the Democratic nominee is they will win the election. This country is so ready for a change of "regimes" that it's not even funny. And Sen. Clinton is likely to be that nominee.
I will be voting for her myself. I am voting for her because she is brilliant, qualifed and has shown me over the last six months that she has an amazing grasp on the delicate situation in the Middle East and a good plan for dealing with Iraq. She'll work hard to restore our reputation in the world, it has been badly damaged by our current President. She is eager to fight terrorism instead of policing a civil war in Baghdad and she will put real pressure on the Iraqis, instead of demands with no teeth, so the Iraqis step a little quicker in building their government and military to be self-sufficient. She knows we can't leave Iraq to Iran and Al Queda, and that is important. But she also knows the current course is not proving to be the answer. I like her stand on domestic issues and I have faith that she will be a very strong leader for this country.
Hope that helps, just one person's opinion.

On a greater severe observe, as Speaker of the abode, Nancy Pelosi is 0.33 in line for place of work of the president ought to something take place to Obama or Joe Biden, and that's adequate to make me shudder. I think it is a little early to know for sure who will win. I will most likely vote for the Republican candidate because I am conservative and usually the Republican is. At this point I think Gulliani will probably be the Republican candidate and I don't think he is as conservative as I would like him to be, but the one I really like is Sam Brownback and he doesn't have a chance. Hillary turns my stomach. Obama might have a chance, but I think Hillary will hurt the Democratic party if she is elected. I think a lot of Republicans will do the same thing I will do. I will take the Democrat ticket in the primary so I can vote against Hillary at that point. As you have guessed, yes I will vote. I realize it may be for the lesser of two evils, but it is my responsibility as a citizen of the USA. If I don't vote and Hillary wins, I have no reason to complain, and beleive I will complain a lot if she wins!!!!!

The next President will be the candidate that wins the electoral college. That's how it's always been. I will vote because it is my responsibility. Besides, if you don't vote, I don't think you should be able to criticize any holder of any office.

I have no idea who will win. However, I will vote Republican, since the Dem's have been taking a revisionist stance to the Bill of Rights in recent years.
