Complete, pure and everlasting Bliss? No, but even if it is NOT possible, we, as humans are instinctivley bound to seek it. We may never reach that point but that shouldn't stop us from making the attempt to achieve it. When we stop doing so, we have given up on ourselves and sort of die a little bit. Not a good thing at all. So, evenif it is unlikely that we wil achieve it we should still continue to make the attempt. Besides, it's NOT the goal that's important. It's the journey of our spirits that makes all the difference to us as humans.

That all depends on how you define "total bliss". I would say yes, because in my experience with highs and lows throughout life, I would define the total opposite of the lowest times as "total bliss". But that's going to be different for everyone.

Yeah... I'm a bit sorry to say, certain intoxicants can get a person to a state of temporary total bliss quite rapidly. Which means that without them, it's still possible... just not as easily, and much more repeatably. We definitely have the capability to touch it.

I would like to believe that I can obtain "total bliss." I suppose I would begin, as I already do, with a prayer to GOD above. I would ask the Lord to oversee my every thought and action and "teach me" how to reach this status. The Lord has already answered my prayers and has given me, numerous times over, only that which is necessary for my well-being. Peace, Love and God Bless.

No. because total bliss has to be absolute and endless, never to end if its going to be rightly called "total".
While we are phisically alive the transitory and fleeting nature of material reality makes that impossible. We can have instants of deep contemplation and inner joy and peace but they are only momentary. Our phisical nature calls us back inmediatelly to survive and to adapt. Total bliss is unacheavable while phisically alive.

I once turned my back on life and went on a magickal journey. I camped on a beach for two months! I left all the worries of the world behind me and just concentrated on finding ME.
I was sitting there one day and i realised that i did not have a care in the world and i was comfortable in my own skin~ That to me was pure bliss.

Yes. The larger issue is that can it be sustained. This where most of us go wrong. The attempt to happy, joyful, elated, etc. all of the time is an unrealistic approach to life that causes more misery.
