From what I understand, sole custody means that the parent with the custody is allowed to make all decisions for the children. Joint custody means they must make decisions together.
Visitation is allowed in both cases.
Only if his rights as a parent are signed away by him would he not be allowed to see them. Or if you can get proof that will stand up in a court of law. If he signs away his rights, he does not pay child support at least from my understanding.
With proof of unacceptable and dangerous behavior in front of the children, he may still be allowed to see them but the visits would be supervised.
I would definitly mention the issues to your lawyer and see what can be set up as far as supervised visits. Good luck to you and your children!

If what you say is true. You have a hard decision to make. You could allow him to see the kids with someone else present if your afraid he might be violent with the kids. As far as porn to say he's addicted to porn is rather harsh, you may not want to hear my answer to his but here goes. Most and I do mean most men have and do look at porn from time to time. If this is something he just started doing it would appear to you that he is addicted because he's really into it. Watching porn doesn't mean were sick or evil were just men who are always horny or unsatisfied in the bedroom. try understanding why he's doing this and maybe you will get some insite into his behaviour.

What an idiot! He should not be subjecting the kids to that sort of stuff they can find out in their own time.
Go straight for sole custody and love your babies.
You don't need that sort of crap to deal with.

I would seek soul custody. But, I would allow visitation rights, with an stipulation that any harm be it physical, or mental, cut his rights off as an adult or parent or father.

You need to talk to a good laywer and if hes doing this and your kids around then NO he doesn't need them around him, you need to file for full custody.
