When that happens I usually yell at them and hang up... lol. If it gets too bad I disconnect the phone..

lol. yes, i usually say "do not call so late, ever", and hang up. if they call back, i say "do not call this late, ever"....and.....hang up. this may go own for some time, and, eventually, i find it useful to put pieces of metal in an envelope, along with a letter that says "do not call so late,ever". they will have 2 pay massive fees for the weight of the letter. even better, it is legal. you should try, lol!

Working night shift, I have to sleep in the daytime. So, I just shut the ringer off and let the voice mail get it, then deal with it when I wake up. If someone does manage to wake me up, I promise to call them at 3 AM and see how they like it. Sometimes ya gotta get tough! lol

Yes, it annoys me a great deal.
Unfortunatly, I'm on call 24/7, so I have to deal with it without losing my cool or being rude.
That's sometimes hard to do at 4:20 A.M., but I try.

I don;t have a fixed phone , just my mobile (cell phone to you Americans) and I switch that off at night ,
Mind you, the first thing I do when I wake up is check it for messages, right after my morning piss

well it is annoying but if i get a phone call at night i do answer it just to make sure my family is ok and all because i normally recieve bad news during the night :(

Yes it does!! I usually listen long enough to make sure that everyone is okay, after that I hang up!! I always answer to make sure no one is hurt!!:)
