I went through Pimp my Profile & found one I liked, I copied the layout code into my "about me" & it WAS there...then it would be there for 2 seconds after i logged on - & now it's just gone except for the very top there is a bar & some graphics w/ the layout title there....but that's it. Oh & my colors are different for the added type.
Is there a secret to copying a layout successfully?

It sounds like you did the right thing. It could be a problem with the layout provider having hosting or image issues.
You also need to make sure you delete any previous layout code before adding your new one. If you don't it could mess the layout up.

Copy and paste the code into your about me section.
I have put in codes before and they have not worked so i would have to end up putting in a different layout code.
