On December 2005, I lost a small claim court case for $245. The claim was completely paid on January 2006.

As long as you have PROOF the claim was paid in full, the plaintiff will only be penalized if he files a claim with the sherrif for non payment. He does not have to advise the court that the claim was paid, and neither do you as defendant. The court order for you to pay was satisfied when he cashed the check or signed a receipt for cash payment.
