Sign Petition: Minister for Men

Petition the Prime Minister to restore equality for men by creating a minister for men.

In this era of single parents, divorce and blended families, the role and reputation of a man has been diluted to a point where he is severely discriminated against in almost all arenas. I call on the Prime Minister to show true equality to men by creating a Minister for Men to reflect balance in Parliament as Ruth Kelly is currently the Minister for Women

Yes for sure. Not just for the sake of women only being sexist, Men have issues that are grave just as much as women might think theirs are. Mens issue are not being taken seriously as womens issues are.

The balance of order and equity needs to be equalised.

To go on from your statement. Not all areas for women are discriminitory or unbalanced either. There has been many a change for the good of women and frankly women are now in a position that that could stop fighting for special treatment because there are no pressing issues of discrimination any longer. So your statement is exactly the same for men and women.

Most certainly needed... I've signed, and it's on my campaigns page (again). Tony Bliar said he had no intention of allowing a position for a mens' minister, so I'm hoping Brown has his head screwed on and will take the proposition under serious consideration.

Equality and Representation not just for the sake of Political Correctness, but rather for the Legal, Moral. Ethical and Social protection of ALL!

Why not, seeing that there is already a 'minister for women'?

But ideally there should be no 'minister for women' or 'minister for men'. There should be a minister for PEOPLE.

I agree that men should have a representative if women do but I do not believe that, "the role and reputation of a man has been diluted to a point where he is severely discriminated against in almost all arenas"

We also need it in the U.S.

Feminist Jurisprudence has largely overtaken the legal system, ect.

Yes.

We need some one to put the feminist in their place in America too.
